I drew a lot today. I'v got a new pen, ya know. But actually nothing I'd like to post at the moment.
So instead here is a pirate I drew last year for a project. He's one of a whole bunch of fierce pirates I did back then. I polished it up a bit and added a new background. Arrrr, hope ya like it, mateys!

I want to illustrate the old fashioned Haifischbar in Hamburg since two weeks, but I´ve only finished this little Sailor...

OK, it's big-noses-time again. Another hammer one from the sketchbook for the steadily growing collection.
As always I couldn't decide on the colours. You can find a blue version here. I also added the original sketch, if you're interested.
(The hibiscus blossom is actually from a pattern I'm doing for the cloth texture of cg character we're working on at the moment.)
Til next time.

A couple of weeks ago a massive storm called Kyrill rolled over Germany. It was an extratropical cyclone with hurricane-strength winds. Not very flyable weather indeed. And a good cause to stay inside.
I did this sketch while the storm was raging outside. When I coloured it yesterday I though it would make a good editorial illustration or maybe a book cover. So I added the nonsense typo. I hope the title is a good translation to the German "Hart am Wind". And don't mind the authors name!
PS: You can find the blank version here.

did an early zombie-work in a needlework subject at school
in the early eighties! Damn, I hated needlework !!!
It was a sewing machine assignment! It had to end up as pillow!
...but never finished it!
