Theme of last weeks Drawin' Night was Karate Kid. What a stupid idea! We were all a miserable failure. No suitable result (Perhaps 'cause none of us is a real martial arts pro). So later i kept busy with studying a few K1-Sites to find poses for drawin' - only to get the feeling of success.

Thies : sketching for shy artists pt.2
Another example of sketching without irritating views over the shoulder by passing strangers. Take a nice group photo from Google (like this one from North Corea) and try...This Sketch is based on a photograph from the book "Die totale Erinnerung" by Kracht, Munz & Nikol.

Thies : Motorbears
Perhaps you remember my old sketch of these bears -here is the final artwork...
The biker looks a little bit like Dom Deluise as Captain Chaos.

Olf : Moongazers!

This is a follow-up to my honeymoon post. The good thing about doing an illustration in individual parts - apart from taking much more time, making everything more complicated and amazingly blowing up your Photoshop document - is that you can easily do a new arrangement. Took me about twenty minutes. And it's a completely different picture.
Cheers,
Olfie
PS: I've posted some of the sketches and parts over at my blog.
