I'm not a real fan of mustaches.
It becomes only a few men, so
there are Tom Selleck, Lemmy
Kilmister or Sam Elliot. And all
look strange without.
This is a digital sunday-sketch
with the attention on composition
and color (and beard:)
This sketch was my result of our last drawing night. We worked again on that "dragon/knight"-theme and extendet it on castles - or did something completely different.
Our last Drawing Night's theme was Knights & Dragons. At first I though it was a marvellous idea - far from it! I had not drawn a dragon in ages and I pretty struggled with it. So I've practised a little bit since. This is one of the better efforts.
I found an elder sketch and thought
it was worth to work it out.
I made him a hundred years older.
But i dunno, perhaps he actually IS
a hundred years older?
Yesterday I was looking through a stack of folders with older sketches and rediscovered this one. Well, 2008 is not that long ago, but I had almost forgotten it.
A really queer old stick, arrogant, headstrong
and choleric but lovely anyhow and always good
for a show. And a face that asks for a caricature.
Most work i got with his eyes, 'cause finding a
foto of him without sunglasses is nearly impossible.
